Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Use affect your legal rights and obligations. If you do not agree to be bound by all of these Terms & Conditions, do not access or use our Service. Serrano’s Cleaning Services reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these Terms and Conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check this website for updates. You agree to not stalk, bully, abuse, harass, or threaten our staff in any way.

Guarantee Service

Serrano's Cleaning offers 100% satisfaction guarantee on full house cleaning . If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us immediately within a 24 hour period ( if you do we will come back, and do it right ). After the 24 hour period, we will not accept any complaints. This is why before leaving we make sure to let you check the house, so you can let us know if we missed something. This does not include the people who sign a paper saying they checked and were satisfied with our work. If somehow the customer is out of town, they may send a trust worthy friend/family member to check the property for them. We do not return after the 24 hour period, we also do not offer any kind of refunds. By entering into a Service Agreement with Serrano's Cleaning Services, you agree that after the termination of the Cleaning Service he/she will not hire or use any Cleaning Services provided by a present, or past cleaner by Serrano's Cleaning Services ( at least 2 years have to pass that they have not been with Serrano's Cleaning Services for you to be able to hire them ).

Residential – Regular Services

Regular Services – Flat rate

  1. The services by price, is determined by the condition, the size, and the task you want completed. We offer estimates by phone and or a walkthrough to your home. As you are well known, we ask the client questions to be able to determine the time and the condition of home. The price we give you can go up if; we believe the condition of the home is more than we expected, the size of the home is more than we expected, or if you(the client) chooses to add extra services not added on the day that client made the appointment.
  2. Every extra task you add to your regular services as a flat rate, will be extra charge. Please call at least 1 day in advance to see if you (the client) can add an extra additional services and what would be the extra charges added to your regular services.
  3. The valuables in your home are important to us. Serrano’s Cleaning Services suggest and request that you put away any valuables, heirlooms, or any other items that are fragile or important to you to reduce accidents.
  4. The price given to you are all divided into different sections to determine the amount of time it might take. Please be advice that the services listed below are not included unless you request it. There are also some small details that will be denied to the client.
    1. Carpet shampoo is not included because it’s a different team of cleaners who are trained to be able to clean carpets. The crew members who arrive cannot use your machines to do carpet shampoo or any other machines that they are not trained or well known to use. Nor will our Carpet shampoo crew use your machines to clean your home, due to only being trained to use Serrano’s cleaning service machines.
    2. There is a possibility that if you try including carpet shampoo to your services on the day of the service your request could denied, due to the carpet shampoo’s schedule and ability.
    3. In the garage they can only sweep, dust, remove cobwebs, and do doors or door knobs, but they cannot move boxes, furniture, or any other items belonging to you (the client). Please be advice the garage is not included into the basic cleaning of your home. Please call the office if you would like to include the garage to your regular schedule.
    4. They cannot go over than 4ft in residential/commercial cleaning. If you are requesting to do a house/commercial cleaning task that requires to go over the 4ft limit, the client(you) will be charged an addition fee to completing the job (all depending on the condition, and the size of the home).
    5. Windows on the second plus floors are not available to be cleaned from the outside, due to the safety of our crew.
    6. Windows for a flat rate basic price are not included that includes blinds as well.
    7. Please call the office to know what would be extra charges, for example windows, blinds, oven, refrigerator and other tasks will be an additional charge for it to be completed. 
    8. Furniture cannot be moved from any type of commercial or residential cleaning, for the safety of the crew members and the safety of the clients (you) as in the furniture, accessories, and or (your) floor.
    9. To request a receipt of your services with Serrano’s cleaning, you can either request it from the crew, or you can call us to send you a receipt by email.
  5. We Serrano’s Cleaning Services reserve the right to reevaluate our estimate rates at any time based on the time it is taking to perform our service to meet the Client’s standards. We will monitor the actual cleaning time for the first two months and occasionally thereafter. We will contact you to discuss possible price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs drastically from the original bid.
  6. If the client had a party or a get together or any other circumstances that caused the services to be longer than the client’s usual time for their regular services. And due to the fact that the client did/did not inform us at least 24 hour before then there will be an additional charge to the client’s total payment if and only if the crew members take longer time than the usual time of the client’s regular schedule.
  7. We advise that you help us, when a get together or any other circumstances happens so the time estimated for your regular services is as expected.
  8. Serrano’s Cleaning Services will provide all the cleaning material needed to complete the type of service that the client has requested. Serrano’s cleaning services discourages the option to use the clients cleaning supplies/equipment. If the client insist in using their own cleaning supplies, Serrano’s cleaning services is not liable for any damage to the clients (your) property. Serrano’s cleaning Services crew members are trained to use Serrano’s cleaning Services cleaning supplies, and equipment. The crew members assigned to the client are not trained to use other types of cleaning supplies, and are not trained to know which of the clients requested products are safe to use in certain areas of the home.
  9. When making an appointment with serrano’s cleaning services the client must allow the team of Serrano’s cleaning services to have entry/access to the property that the client assigned to clean. The failure to allow Serrano’s cleaning services such as to enter the property may result in an additional fee.
  10. Serrano’s cleaning services requires to have any type of pet, or animal secured for the safety of our teams and your pets. We suggest/require that you pick up after them before the arrival of Serrano’s cleaning services team members.
  11. Requesting additional services on the day of the service, will most likely be denied (this includes carpet shampoo, tasks that require going over 4ft.) Please call the office to be informed if our schedule can allow the extra services you request, if not we can schedule you to another date or time that would be best for you.
  12. If in any case delays in transportation, shortages of fuel and/or materials, fires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, or any other unpredictable inconvenience  or cause beyond the control of Serrano’s cleaning Services. Serrano’s Cleaning Services reserves the right to adjust the service charge in the event of any type of unpredictable inconvenience were to happen along the way.
  13. In addition if we wait for you to open door to property this time will assessed to your final payment.
  14. Serrano’s cleaning Services requires full payment to be done per visit or monthly. We do not accept cheeks, only from certain commercial cleaning services. In a case where Serrano’s cleaning services have emailed you stating that sending check payments is allowed for your regular services, then if a check is returned due to insufficient funds, you may be subject to additional charges.

Regular Services – Hourly’s Services

  1. The condition, size of the home, and what you would like done is always important to determine the time they might take on your home. We always recommend an hour more than what you believe it might take to finish in case they need extra time. We do not guarantee in the hourly service with serrano’s cleaning services company that every task you assign the crew to be completed.
  2. Every extra task you add to your hourly schedule, in the hours that you’ve booked for will not have an addition charge. Although, if they finish the hours that you’ve booked for in your regular services and you want them to finish what you asked them to do you’ll have to add an extra hour, and every extra hour is an addition charge. Your request for an extra hour/task request can be denied due to fact;
    1. You don’t inform us at least 24 hours in advance
    2. The client requested Carpet shampoo
    3. The client requested to move furniture, out or in the home.

  12. Serrano’s cleaning Services requires full payment to be done per visit or monthly (on the first 3 days of the month). We do not accept cheeks, only from certain commercial cleaning services. In a case where Serrano’s cleaning services have emailed you stating that sending check payments is allowed for your regular services, then if a check is returned due to insufficient funds, you may be subject to additional charges.
  13. When entering into an agreement for services with serrano’s cleaning services, you agree not to solicit for hire any crew member introduced to you by Serranos cleaning services for any home-related services. If you are found to have solicited one of our staff members, please be advised that our referral/ training fee is $2,000 payable to Serranos cleaning Services immediately upon employing our staff for any services to your home/ business. Your cleaner (s) will also be immediately terminated.
  14. If the client had a party or a get together or any other circumstances that caused the client to ask for an extra hour/half hour to their schedule the request will be denied if they call on the day of the services. They have to call at least 1 day before, to be able to try to work with the other clients and the client them self’s (you).

CHARGES TO CREDIT CARD TO ALL REGULAR SERVICES. I (we) (the customer) hereby authorize you (Serrano’s Cleaning) to charge my credit/debit card on record for any of the following charges:

  1. The amount of the cleaning, if I do not leave payment at the residence on the day of the scheduled cleaning;
  2. The amount of the cleaning, if Serrano’s cleaning arrives at my home and is unable to access my property, or if I can or skip my regularly scheduled cleaning with less than one (1) business day’s notice;
  3. Since the client has chosen to do payment by credit/debit card, we add an extra charge of 3% to their total payment.
  4. An additional fee if Serrano’s cleaning charges the client the total amount and the client reports it as a payment that she/he did not approve or if she/he declined the total amount.
  5. The additional fee can increase if the client hasn’t paid over 48 hours of the date of the service.
  6. If the client has rescheduled their regular services:
    - As a Weekly service over 1 month of no services there will be an additional charge from $35 and more depending on how many visits missed.
    - As a Biweekly services (every two weeks) over 2 months of no services there will be an additional charge from $35 and more depending on how many visits/months missed.
    - As a Monthly services (once a month) over 2 months of no services there will be an additional charge from $35 and more depending how many months missed.
  7. If the client(you) canceled their appointment after only one day of regular services, you agree to pay the total amount as a onetime cleaning for their one time service.

FOR ALL REGULAR SERVICES
Serrano’s cleaning Services reserves the right stop the services, if the client is offensively impolite or ill-mannered, threaten the crew members, or if the crew members feel unsafe in the property the client has assigned them.
The client approves that Serrano’s cleaning services can record or take pictures of the property for business purposes only, and or if to get proof of services done by Serrano’s cleaning services.
These terms and conditions cannot be changed all depending on a statement of a client. The terms and conditions that the company Serrano's cleaning services provides the client on their website or sent to them, cannot be changed, nor can it be terminated by a client. It can only be changed, or terminated by Serrano's cleaning services. These terms and conditions can be changed at any time, without any notice in advance, we advise you to check our website for any additional change. Serrano’s cleaning services may, at its own discretion, terminate/cancel/release these Terms and Conditions at any time during the term of this agreement. These Terms and Conditions can change, please check our website to see for any updates.

 

If the customer wish to hire our employee who is trained with our professional services, as an individual, and not as a company, there will be a fee of $2,000 ( the customer and the employee is bound by Serrano's Cleaning Services Terms and Conditions ) Or you'll have to wait 2 years to be able to hire one of our employees, with no fee required, as long the employee has not been with Serrano's Cleaning Services in a 2 year period.

        Appointment Cancelation Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hour Cancellation Notice ( including holiday/weekends). If you need to cancel or would like to reschedule your appointment please phone the office directly ( if by incase, our phone line is offline, email us to let us know ). If by any chance you hair us, an when we get there and see there are other people cleaning which you hired, or you just don't want our services anymore, ( and you did not leave a message by email or call us to cancel ) we can charge you $45 for our employees time, and the gas money which you wasted. You also agree to comply with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to your use of the service and your content, including but not limited to copyright laws ( ex. federal, state, local, and provincial )

If you cancelled an appointment, for a One Time Cleaning, the deposit is not refundable. Customer Agrees to pay the $45 if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Customer will also be billed, if some how the cleaner can't access the property, and wont be able to do the work that day ( the bill is for the gas money, and the employees time that was wasted ). If by any chance the employees have to wait for you to come to the property more than 15 min's they will charge you depending how long you take to get there. ( the money is for the gas money & the employees time ). If you have regular service with us, and you want to cancel our contract. The customer will have to send a written letter or an email with the minimum of 30 days in advance ( you may also call, if there is no answer please send an email ).

House Discount ( Cancelation To A Contract )

If we give you the amount that is due, and then we give you a discount for a weekly, biweekly, or monthly service, and if you cancel the contract. You'll have a charge of the discount that was given to you. (ex. If we tell you the price is $120 for our service, and we give you a discount because you want a reoccurring service, and then we leave it to you as $99.99 ( per visit ) for your service, you'd be saving $20 every time we come visit. Now if you end up canceling the contract, and you still have 1 more day of service, we will charge you $20 for the two visits we went. ) If you still don't understand how our discount contract works, call our office, or send us an email and well answer your questions.

For an Janitorial Service ( Cancelation To A Contract )

If you decide to cancel a contract, you agree on the Terms & Conditions that you'll have to pay the 30 percent for the rest of the contract ( if canceled ). You'll have to have at least 3 months into the contract to be able to Cancel the Contract. You'll have to send a email, stating you want to cancel the contract ( the minimum of 30 day's notice ).  The payment has to be in no more than 30 days, and it has to be the total charge of the 30 percent of the rest of the contract. If the payment arrives to us more than the 30 day limit you'll be charged for each month that passes by ( It would be a 10% charge ).

Confidentiality & Security Policy ( Safety )

The Safety of our clients and as well as our cleaners is paramount equity at Serrano's Cleaning. We guarantee discretion, and do not share information ( including but not limited to email, residential addresses, telephone numbers, and profiles ). We do not allow anyone into the property without explicit direction from our client. We also ask that you inform the office if there will be anyone there, if there will be some kind of delivery upon the property while our workers are there, please notify us. The keys to the property or facility are coded and do not have personal information on key tags. Please let us know before the cleaning if anything in the property is not working properly ( glass shower door falls off hinges when opened, hot water faucet is reversed with cold water, exposed wiring, picture frame is already broken and should not be moved, etc.) Cleaners must wear shoes to be in compliance with safety standards.

The Customer Represents & Warrants that :

Will provide a safe working environment at the premises for the cleaner to perform the service. Will provide the Cleaner with access to all services and utilities ( including hot, and cold water, electricity, and rubbish bins) as required by the cleaner to provide the Service ( unless other arrangements have been made with Serrano's. All cleaning equipment and materials provided the Customer are safe, have not been tampered with and are in full working order. Will inform Serrano's prior to the commencement of the Service of any hazards, slippery surfaces, risks, danger, ingrained dirt, grease, or grime at the premises. Will authorized to use the premises and obtain the provision of Service. If the Customer requires the Cleaner to clean behind or under any heavy Items ( e.g. fridge, bookshelf, or any kind of furniture ), they agree that they will move those items prior to the commencement of the Service. Will secure or remove any fragile, delicate, breakable or valuable items, including cash, jewelry, works of art, antiques, or items of sentimental value prior to the commencement of the Service.

       Picture Policy

We reserve the right to take " Before & After " pictures. The images we obtain will ONLY be used for business purposes only.

       Extra Services

If you require extra services or additional cleaning in your scheduled cleaning day, please contact us 48 hours in advance, so we may allow the extra time needed at your home. If your scheduled appointment less than 24 hours, you have to let us know 15 hours before the due date. For a business or office, we will give you a quote for the additional services you ask for.

           Payment

Can pay by phone, email, cash, check, or PayPal. If you pay by PayPal, or phone you'll have to add an additional $3 ( Why? PayPal takes away $3 away from us when you pay from there ). When paying by cash or check, you don't have to add an additional $3.

For one time cleaning the payment need to be the day of the service if don't pay the day of the service we charge 10% late fee avery day.

     Late Payment Fee

The Customer Agrees to our Payment Terms. We will send an invoice reminder from 7 to 10 days before the first of each month, after the first of each month the customer has 7 days to make payment. If the client does not receive the invoice, this does NOT mean not to pay the bill. If you do not send it before the due date there will be consequences. Which means if you have not made the payment before the seventh, we will charge you 10 percent late payment.
